Following on from being ranked as one of the top five agents in the East Midlands in the annual Estates Gazette round-up, the firm has now been announced as Northamptonshire’s most active agent, with the individual accolade for most active deal maker also being awarded one its team members.
To qualify for these rankings, Prop-Search completed a record number of transactions over a 12 month period, which were verified by the Estates Gazette – the industry’s national property bible – and cover all property sectors including industrial, office, retail and leisure.
Simon Toseland, a founding Director of Prop-Search, said: “This is the third time we have won ‘Most Active Agent’ and the fifth time a member of the team has secured ‘Most Active Deal Maker’. The past 12 months has seen significant growth in the East Midlands property market, with Northamptonshire registering very much on the radar as a location for the resurgence of speculative development and a big demand for logistic sites. At a local level, we have seen a high proportion of our stock being let or sold within just weeks of coming to the market.”
Associate Director of Prop-Search, Samantha Jones, was also named ‘Dealmaker of the Year’ – her fourth win in the past six years – having completed more individual transactions than any other surveyor in the County.
Samantha said: “I am thrilled to have again won this award. It is great to see all my hard work receive such prestigious external recognition. It’s been an incredibly busy 12 months and considering the limited supply of property to the market, a real boost to have been able to achieve so many sales and letting for clients – leading to being named this year’s Dealmaker for Northamptonshire.”
Now entering its tenth year in business, Prop-Search was originally established by Directors Simon Toseland and Chris Billson, when the pair set out to provide a practice that delivered market leading professional advice and placed customer care at its helm.
Today, Prop-Search has a team of ten based in two offices in Northamptonshire – in Wellingborough and Northampton – and one in Milton Keynes. The company’s services include the sale, letting and acquisition of commercial properties including industrial / warehousing, offices, retail, investment, roadside, licensed & leisure, commercial & residential land sale & development, as well as additional specialism’s such as management (including rent collection), rent review, lease renewal, rating, building surveying, building insurance, valuations and planning.
