Solutions rebrands following two years of success since merger

Financial and business management software provider Solutions for Accounting has marked the second anniversary of its merger with BluebirdCRM with a new name and logo, following two years of growth.

Nottingham-based Solutions, which acquired BluebirdCRM, of Derby, in April 2015, has increased its employee headcount from 27 to 40, creating 13 new jobs since the merger.

The firm has redesigned its company logo to reflect the change, and from today (3 APR) will be called Solutions for Accounting and CRM.

Solutions was formed in 1998 with only one member of staff. It has developed into one of the UK’s leading Sage and Swiftpage business partner, with several strategically-located regional offices across the UK.

BluebirdCRM was founded, in Derby, in 2005 and was a provider of CRM and marketing software solutions Sage CRM, MailChimp and Act!. It aimed to help SMEs grow by improving their sales and marketing capabilities.

The merged organisation has retained its existing Sherwood House head office on Gregory Boulevard, Nottingham, and BluebirdCRM’s base at Mercia Marina, in Derby.

Iain Barker, managing director of Solutions for Accounting and CRM, said: “Our two companies have achieved more together since the merger than they would have been able to as separate businesses. The focus over the past two years has remained the same, to provide high quality, value adding services with excellent customer care.

“The merger integration process presented us with the opportunity to evaluate and improve our overall customer experience.

“With the transformation that has taken place, now is the perfect time to change our name and our logo to mark the progress the company has made over the past two years and to better reflect the full range of CRM and accountancy software solutions we can offer to clients.”

The recent release of Sage Live couldn’t have come at a better time for the company. Sage Live is a fully integrated, complete business management solution bringing CRM, accounting and financial data together on to a single cloud-based platform.

Having one business management solution which is fully integrated with Salesforce and on the Salesforce platform allows businesses to benefit from real-time information and to work anywhere, anytime.

Mr Barker added: “Due to our expert knowledge and experience with accounting software and now, following the merger, CRM software has made us the go-to company for this fantastic new product. Also, thanks to months of hard work and studying, our team members are now Salesforce Certified professionals.”
