Financial Services company now manages its highest amount of private wealth to date on behalf of its clients. The RU Group, a Midlands based leading group of financial services companies, has announced that it has surpassed £400 million of assets under management on behalf of its clients, its highest total to date.
The group, with headquarters at the ng2 Business Park in Nottingham, currently has £406m in private wealth under management in its model portfolios and investment propositions. This has increased by 37% in the last financial year.
The RU Group consists of two Nottingham based companies, Russell Ulyatt Financial Services and Greenhalgh Financial Services along with Derby based Shevill Parkes Financial Services and Sheffield based Hart Shaw Financial Planning.
Ian Browne, Head of Advice at The RU Group comments: “This is a significant achievement for The RU Group and another indicator of the company’s continued growth. This landmark total has been achieved through a combination of our advisers’ expert market knowledge growing the investment portfolios of our clients and new client acquisition as part of our ongoing growth strategy.”
This achievement is the latest in a series of milestones for the company, which has roots dating back to 1881.
In March 2017, Russell Ulyatt Financial Services was named amongst the top 13 wealth management specialists in the UK by leading review site Advisory HQ. Earlier in the year, the firm’s Managing Director Andy Dyke was awarded a Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society (PFS), the professional body for the financial planning community and part of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
In December 2016, Russell Ulyatt Financial Services was awarded “Chartered Financial Planners” status by the CII, an award which demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting staff who have the drive and ambition to further improve their professional qualifications. To date, fewer than 750 firms have achieved Chartered status illustrating that this is a highly exclusive award reserved for leading firms within the financial advice market.
Ian Browne adds: “It has been a strong start to 2017 for the firm and our clients and with plans for further growth throughout the year, including recruiting new staff at our Nottingham and Sheffield offices, we are on track to build on recent successes.”
