Rebecca first started working at the Centre back in 2012 as part of her University course in Events Management. After taking a break from the company to complete her degree and pursue a role as a PA to a Billionaire, she was welcomed back into the business in October 2015.
Just 18 months after acting as the Derby Conference Centres ‘Conference Coordinator’, Rebecca has now been promoted to ‘Sales and Conference Office Manager’. Her responsibilities include overseeing the team and managing the Sales Executives.
Rebecca commented: “It feels like a family run business here, and it’s a real close-knit team. I’m looking forward to reviewing the areas where our team are strongest and using this to help move the team forward.”
The business is also employing a new full time member of staff which will bring the Conference and Sales team up to 5 members.
