Nottingham catering specialist, Posh Nosh, has unveiled a renovated kitchen with brand-new, top-of-the-range equipment following a £22,000 loan from HSBC.
Located in Sandiacre, Posh Nosh has provided catering solutions to a wide range of conferences and events in the East Midlands since 2002. The business has been able to renovate its operations with funding from HSBC, including a redesigned kitchen layout for improved efficiency and brand-new equipment to cater for larger functions.
HSBC’s funding has enabled Posh Nosh to bring in new equipment and reorganise the complete set up of the kitchen, allowing the business to cater for larger events and deliver more catering contracts. The new equipment also means Posh Nosh hopes to serve an additional 300-400 people per week and expects to increase turnover by 25%.
In addition to the kitchen overhaul, Posh Nosh has been able to recruit two new members of staff, a kitchen assistant and delivery driver. The redesigned kitchen provides ample space for the business to recruit more staff as it continues to grow.
The business has also invested in upgrading its website to highlight its services for corporate events, a key area of growth for Posh Nosh.
Rob King, the Commercial Director of Posh Nosh, said: “We’re really excited about our renovated kitchen and the space it has given us to grow into. The changes we have been able to make to our kitchen and website with HSBC’s support has helped future-proof our business and will enable us to focus on wining new contracts.”
Dave Welch, HSBC Area Director for Business Banking East Midlands, said “Posh Nosh is a great example of a local business which has lots of drive to keep expanding. The team are keen to win more corporate catering contracts, an area of the industry which has seen demand increase significantly. Our Business Banking specialists are committed to helping British businesses like Posh Nosh realise their ambitions and we look forward to working with Rob and his team as they continue to grow.”
HSBC’s Relationship Manager for the East Midlands, Anthony Greenfield, led the funding support for Posh Nosh and continues to provide guidance as the company progresses its business strategy.
