Mr Ellins, who joined the Hallam team in October 2013, has shown exceptional dedication to his work and over the past months has created products that have delivered high value results to clients.
The University of York graduate will continue to manage client accounts, implementing successful SEO, PPC and content marketing strategies for a variety of B2B and B2C clients and continue to help others in the team develop with his breadth and depth of knowledge.
Mr Ellins said: “I’m very pleased to be promoted to a senior level. It reflects my extensive experience in digital marketing, consistent results I’ve secured for our clients and my willingness to try new marketing techniques and to share them with the team.
“I am particularly pleased with the the advanced paid advertising techniques that I have been developing recently. I have used AdWords scripting and scientific analysis of data to squeeze every penny out of paid advertising and get the best results possible.”
Two of Mr Ellins’ current clients have large boosts in their sales thanks to the work of Mr Ellins.
Mr Ellins said: “For one of my clients profits are up 74% year on year due to my AdWords script and other changes on their paid advertising, as well as large website changes that have improved the conversion rate.
“Another of my clients has seen a more than 500% increase in sales since I began working with them.”
As well as developing his suite of professional skills during his time at Hallam Mr Ellins has also benefitted from the on-going development that Hallam offers to its employees – including a trip to New York to visit one of the world’s biggest search marketing conferences SMX.
He said: “One of the major draws of working at Hallam is the professional development opportunities that are on offer. We have the time built in to our working hours for self-supported study and I know that I have the support from the senior management team to pursue new areas that will benefit both me and our clients.
“Being able to travel to New York and attend such a prestigious conference was a brilliant experience and something that is a huge perk to working at Hallam.”
