Northants VA wins national award after less than a year in business

Ruth Dyer, a Northants-based virtual assistant who trades as RDVA, has won a national award for UK Best Newcomer VA 2017 – despite only starting in business in June last year.

Organised by BeMyVA.com, RDVA fought off stiff competition from across the UK to be crowned the winner at the UK VA Conference Awards at Olympia, London.

Ruth impressed the judges with her ‘experience, professional achievements and progress in such a short period of time’ and they commented that ‘Ruth’s continuing progress is one to watch’.

Ruth said: “I am still pinching myself and can’t believe I have won UK Best Newcomer VA 2017. I’ll be honest – there were tears!”

News has spread quickly since Ruth’s award win and she has already secured lots of leads and new business as a result.

“When I started RDVA I had no idea things would grow so quickly and I would be a national award winner in a few short months,” added Ruth. “I am lucky to really enjoy what I do and the support I have received from my clients and the local business community has been amazing.”
