Chris Oxley, a dentist with almost 30 years of experience in the field, secured a five-figure loan from Lloyds Bank to support the opening of ODental on Station Street.
The loan was used to support the lease and refurbishment of the new premises and to purchase state of the art dental equipment, including digital x-ray units and imaging systems. It will allow the surgery to provide a range of new services, from simple procedures to more advanced treatments like dental implants.
ODental currently employs a dental nurse and hygienist to work alongside Chris, and is looking to increase the team as the business grows.
Chris Oxley, owner of ODental, said: “I wanted to create a high-quality, comprehensive general practice that provides a wide range of treatments. The support from Lloyds Bank has been invaluable in helping me to achieve this vision.
“We’ve not been open very long, but we already have a growing number of patients and we’re hoping to increase this as we establish our reputation for expert dental care in the area.”
Phill Bateman, relationship manager at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, said: “As one of two dental practices in Kibworth, ODental is helping to meet a demand for private dental treatments in the area. Our experience of supporting businesses in the healthcare sector leaves us well-placed to help Chris achieve his business vision.
“We’re committed to helping Britain prosper, and to underline this, we have pledged to grow our SME net lending by at least £1billion until the end of 2017.”
