LSH hopes to produce ‘oar’some team for Dragon Boat Race

A team from national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) is hoping to demonstrate its “oar”some rowing expertise when they take part in the third annual Dragon Boat Race.

Eleven property experts from the Lincoln office will be joining competitors again for this year’s event, which takes place on July 21 at Brayford Waterfront.

It will be the third year that LSH has entered a team for the charity race, which will raise money for LIVES, St Barnabas, and Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

Marie Gutteridge, director of lease advisory at LSH’s Lincoln office, who is heading the LSH Crusaders, said: “The Lincoln Dragon Boat Race is quickly establishing itself as one of the best charity fundraisers in the city and we are thrilled to add our name to the growing list of competitors.

“It’s hard work but incredibly rewarding and it raises significant sums for some excellent local causes. We’ll spend the next few weeks building our boat and hopefully getting as fit as possible for the day – we’re really looking forward to it.”

The race is organised by Ringrose Law with Lincoln BIG and Visit Lincolnshire. Last year, 16 teams entered the event, which raised more than £7,000 for local charities.
