A Market Harborough-based digital marketing expert was among business leaders who led seminars at the recent Leicester Business Festival, which attracted over 10, 000 visitors during its two-week run.

Jess Shailes, Head of Digital Marketing at The Ideal Marketing Company delivered a fully-booked two-hour seminar on ‘How to Measure Marketing Success with Google Analytics’ at the King Richard III Centre in Leicester.

Delegates at the free event included businesses owners, managers and marketers looking to find strategies to clearly interpret and demonstrate the value of their digital marketing activities in order to help their business grow.

The seminar covered identifying business goals, KPIs and targets to report against in marketing activities, optimising Google Analytics, setting up appropriate levels of reporting, accessing trusted tools and templates, reporting on the quality of different channels, monitoring search engine performance and highlighting key takeaways from reports.
