Lindum is pleased to announce that James Nellist has been appointed as a Director of Lindum York.
James Nellist started work for Lindum Construction in Lincoln in 2007 as a Quantity Surveyor and moved to the York Office as Managing Surveyor in 2015 and now heads the commercial and estimating teams.
James’ Directorship was approved at the recent Group Executive Board Meeting. Lindum Group Chairman, David Chambers, said “James’ appointment as Director is in recognition of the contribution, dedication and ability he has shown throughout the ten years he has been a part of the Lindum Team and for the responsibility he now has. Congratulations from all of us and we wish him continued success here at Lindum.”
On the announcement James said “During the ten years I have worked for Lindum I have been offered a wide variety of challenging projects and career opportunities which I have embraced. Learning from the best in the business and being part of an outstanding team of people has enabled me to develop and play my part in the ongoing success of the company. I particularly appreciate the flexibility and support I have received helping me manage the demands of having a young family as well as the encouragement I have received from senior managers to progress my own career within the company. I am delighted to have been appointed a Director and look forward to working hard with the rest of my team here in York to ensure we continue to provide our clients with the best possible service.”
Jonathan Sizer, Managing Director for Lindum in York, added “James is a highly valued member of the management team here in York and continues to play a vital part in our ongoing success and development of our operation here in Yorkshire. Since opening an office in York in 2012 the team has grown from three to nearly 40 and we are still expanding as our workload continues to grow with an established client base and a high level of new enquiries. The investment we made in 2015 to purchase our offices in Elvington has proved a wise decision as it provides us with a permanent base with scope for future expansion.”
