Leicester based BS Handling Systems appoints new key account manager

Malcolm Holmes

BS Handling Systems has expanded its team with the appointment of Malcolm Holmes as key account manager. Holmes joins BS Handling Systems as the company continues to expand rapidly. His role will see him help deliver and manage projects for clients, as well as assisting with new business development.

Holmes joins the team with over 20 years of account management and customer relations experience in both the damage management and insurance industries. Based at the Leicester head office, as well as on site, Holmes’ position will see him managing projects from initial enquiries through to completed installations. He will also be responsible for new business development and supporting innovation within the company.

Holmes comments: “Moving to the materials handling and logistics industry is a big change. The fundamental principles around providing great customer service, however, are the same, so I know I can bring a fresh vision to the business.

“What greatly attracted me to BS Handling Systems is its focus and ethos of putting the customer first to deliver the best solution possible. I wanted to join a company with similar business ethics as my own and I’m confident that BS Handling Systems is the perfect match. I’m looking forward to the challenge of learning a new industry, meeting both current and new clients, and getting immersed in exciting materials handling projects.”

Robert Smith, Managing Director of BS Handling Systems concludes: “It’s been an extremely successful year for us with several big project wins and we have built upon this success by expanding our team.

“The addition of Malcolm as key account management is a great fit. Our clients and their satisfaction with our projects is our number one priority and Malcolm shares this focus with us. With a strong background in customer relations and successful project delivery, I know he will be a great asset to both the team and our service offering.”
