Kingswood Achieves Double First Year Target


Growing Nottingham based lettings and management specialists celebrate successful first twelve months in business. 

Kingswood Residential Investment Management, a Nottingham based residential property company specialising in residential lettings, management and investments is celebrating a successful first 12 months in business.

The company, started by Adam Kingswood in February 2016, has got off to a flying start, achieving double its first year target. Kingswood now manages over 150 properties on behalf of its clients in Nottinghamshire.

Adam Kingswood comments: “We set ourselves a first year target of having 70 managed properties on our books at the end of Year 1 and I am delighted that we have doubled that figure. It is pleasing that this has been achieved through a combination of organic growth and existing clients entrusting us with further properties, with the vast majority of our new landlord clients coming through recommendations from existing clients and professional contacts. I am looking forward to our second year in business and growing our team. Naturally I would be delighted if we could achieve a similar rate of growth!”

The company, which is located on Regent Street in Nottingham city centre, offers a range of services from bespoke portfolio management, property acquisition, buy-to-let market and investment advice, to lettings and finding tenants. Its clients include professional property investors and people with a small property portfolio. Kingswood also provide advice about refurbishments and tenancy documentation.

Adam adds: “Whilst we are naturally concerned about the incoming changes to landlord tax relief and the potential impact of selective licensing proposed by Nottingham City Council, we are confident moving into our second year as we are still seeing interest in our services by property investors. We are finding that our personal service and tailored approach to managing our client’s properties is something that is popular with landlords. We understand that landlords often have specific requirements with how their properties are let and managed, and we tailor our service to fit those requirements wherever possible, whilst providing an expert service ”
