Hallam Welcomes Two New Directors to the Board

Nottingham based award winning digital marketing agency, Hallam Internet, is pleased to continue its impressive growth by promoting two long-standing employees to the Board of Directors, improving its services and building even further the strengths of a new leadership team.

Newly appointed Marketing Services Director, Ben Wood, and Sales Director, Jake Elliott, deliver superb results for Hallam and have had integral roles in driving the business forward. The advanced nature of the work they do merit this progression in their careers and they both move into their new roles effective immediately.

Ben, 29, is from Nottingham and joined Hallam in 2012 as a Digital Marketing Consultant. He has progressed to Digital Marketing Manager, and then to Head of Digital as the business has grown. His latest role is Marketing Services Director, where he looks after all work that requires marketing support. He has notable successes in growing the team at Hallam as well as improving Hallam’s service offering, processes, and tools.

Jake, 27, is also from Nottingham and joined Hallam in 2014 as New Business Manager. He has been at the forefront of Hallam’s remarkable business growth, which is reflected in his new role as Sales Director. When Jake first started, Hallam employed 8 people. Three years on, Hallam now have a team of over 40 and a growing portfolio of clients which includes the United Nations, Raleigh, The Money Shop, and many others.

The promotions come at a time of ongoing growth for Hallam Internet, who earlier this year merged with Big Spring, a premier designer and developer of web solutions. The newly formed company employs over 40 people and continues to operate under the Hallam brand. Hallam continues to welcome new clients from a range of sectors, operating locally, nationally, and internationally.

Introducing these new roles represent the culmination of a long commitment to the business, and Hallam’s Board of Directors now sits at six. These two new appointments put the focus on the next generation of top-level talent.

Ben Wood, a graduate of Nottingham Trent University, commented on his new role “The growth we’ve experienced over the past few years has been nothing short of phenomenal. This period of high growth has given me exposure to almost every aspect of business management and has enabled me to develop in ways that wouldn’t have been possible in a large organisation.

“Naturally I’m delighted to have been offered the chance to be part of the newly developed board at Hallam and I’m really looking forward to contributing to our continued growth over the next few years.”

Jake Elliott, who month on month wins new business for Hallam, said “Being part of Hallam’s growth has been incredibly satisfying and I am excited to take a step up into Directorship.

“I feel proud to say I work with some of the most experienced professionals in the East Midlands. As Sales Director, the team makes my job easy as I am able to confidently demonstrate why we are truly leaders at what we do.”
