Fraser Brown host charity golf day with a difference

Castle Rock barFraser Brown held a charity golf day at The Nottinghamshire Golf Club on Tuesday, raising £5,000 for MacMillan and Breakthrough Breast Cancer. After a remarkable response from the Nottinghamshire Professional Community 36 teams played in two competitions, across both the Masters and Open courses at the club. The day was in memory of Claire Lowe, a legal executive at Fraser Brown who tragically lost her battle with breast cancer in March 2013 at the age of 32. The winning team from each course played in a tense play off in front of a crowd of 160 golfers. The overall winners were Alea Casino, who beat a team from Fraser Brown by just one point. Patrick Wood, managing partner at Fraser Brown, said “We are delighted with how the day went, we couldn’t have asked for better weather and we have had really positive feedback from a lot of our guests. We had several sponsors who helped make the day such a success so we thank them for their support, and for all of the teams for their generosity for these great charities.”
