The firm, which helps clients recruit within the IT, Engineering and Property sectors, adds a London office location following a record breaking year of growth, which saw sales revenue increase by 30%.
Its new London base is located within minutes of Tech City, meaning EMBS can now meet and engage with clients and candidates with even more ease.
Jamie Elliss, Practice Director and Co-founder of EMBS says: “It’s an exciting development for us, our new office not only helps cement much closer working partnerships with our clients in London, but allows us to create many more relationships as we build out our capabilities.”
The open, more flexible working environment allows better collaboration between the teams at EMBS; allowing its workforce to be more mobile which in turn creates more opportunity to do business.
Ian Stevens, Practice Director and Co-founder of EMBS says: “Over the past three years we have established ourselves in the Property / Student Accommodation market, working with some of the top providers in this area. I am very excited to be working closer with our clients; London offers a wealth of opportunity to grow our business across all sectors.”
The new office houses a business lounge, a purposely-designed open plan space for clients and intermediaries to meet in central London, in addition to private meeting rooms.
James Hall, Practice Director says, “After establishing EMBS Engineering Limited in its own right in 2018, we have been working toward expanding our client base further afield than the Midlands. Engineering remains one of the most sought after skills in the UK job market and securing work with a top UK engineering company can open up a wealth of opportunities for us and our community of candidates. Our new London office gives us a greater ability to achieve this.”
Simon Bucknell, Practice Director and Co-founder of EMBS, adds: “The last 16 years has seen significant, continuous growth for us to the extent that we have become the preferred supplier for a number of large UK companies. We have grown steadily and organically, through recessions, upturns and downturns, and right now we are enjoying our best trading period to date. 2018 was a record year for us and this year is already very positive. We remain as ambitious as we were when we set out in 2003 and we are eager to see what opportunities our new office – and its location – presents.”
