East Midlands site managers recognised with top award

Joe Reynolds, Site Manager of Miller Homes’ Knights Chase development in Ashby, has been awarded at this year’s NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Awards

Miller Homes Midlands is celebrating after two of its site managers were victorious at this year’s NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Awards.

Leicestershire-based Joe Reynolds secured the prestigious award for his work at Knights Chase in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and Simon Wilson also picked up the accolade for his efforts at Dales View in Brailsford, Derbyshire.

The awards are the UK house-building industry’s most sought after honours and are dedicated to recognising and rewarding outstanding site managers.

Gavin Jones, regional production director for Miller Homes Midlands said: “These awards showcase the on-going commitment we have at Miller Homes to ensure our homes are of the highest quality. Joe and Simon and their teams have both undoubtedly raised the bar this year, and we’re all really proud of their excellent achievement.”

Joe Reynolds said: “Building homes safely and to the highest possible standard, is at the heart of everything we do. This award is testament to everyone’s hard work at Knights Chase, and across the whole of Miller Homes. It goes without saying how proud I am to be recognised in this way.”

Simon Wilson added: “Everyone at Miller Homes is delighted to have been recognised by these awards. We’ve certainly worked hard over the past 12 months and this accolade reiterates how the whole team has excelled at Dales View. We’re all absolutely thrilled.”

Site managers are judged on a number of criteria including consistency of high standards, leadership, technical expertise, interpretation, and health and safety.
