East Midlands auctioneer appoints marketing manager as part of its expansion

The multi-award winning firm has welcomed Faye to the team who joins with many years of experience in senior marketing roles including positions at the National Trust and Nottingham’s Galleries of Justice Museum and City of Caves.

As marketing manager, Faye will be responsible for the overall brand development of John Pye Auctions and will be implementing the firms ambitious marketing strategy as well as managing the marketing team. With Faye’s appointment, and the hire of two marketing execs in the last few months, the expanding marketing team now consists of six staff.

Faye said: “John Pye Auctions is a market leader in the online auctions industry and I am proud to be joining such an innovative business at an exciting time in its growth.

John Pye Auctions is the UK’s largest independent commercial auction house and holds more than 650 online auctions a year. The business works with major UK high-street retailers, insolvency practitioners, banks, lenders, government agencies and agents.

With its origins dating back 40 years, the auction house has grown from one UK trading site to 20 in the last five years, sites include; London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Derby, Marchington, Sheffield, Scotland and Wales.

The business has recently enjoyed a trio of award success having recently won Asset Valuer/Auctioneer of the Year at the 2016 TRI (Turnaround, Restructuring & Insolvency) Awards, crowned Midlands Family Business of the Year 2016 and was a finalist at the Amazon Growing Business Awards 2016 for Digital Business of the Year.
