Dynamic Daventry business launches new culinary centre

A dynamic Daventry-based supplier of top European and American catering brands is racing towards more success this year with the opening of a new and innovative Culinary Centre.

Euro Catering, a family-run business which already had its head office on the Drayton Fields business park, has relocated its former showroom and demonstration kitchen from Lutterworth, after taking over another unit at the same location, to bring all its key functions together on one site.

The new unit has been transformed into a showroom with a difference.  All equipment is displayed in a way that gives the showroom the look of an exhibition hall, to make it easier for the distributor or end-user to understand how different pieces of equipment could be configured within a commercial kitchen design.

Equipment is grouped in themed zones, whether that is hi-tech Giorik combi ovens, heavy-duty Debag bakery and convection ovens, advanced hot-holding equipment or Italian pizza ovens.

All of this is set to be officially unveiled on Wednesday January 17, when Euro Catering stages the first of two back-to-back open days, for dealers, distributors, kitchen design houses and any end-users interested in finding out more about equipment that could revolutionise their commercial kitchen.

The clever design makes this new Culinary Centre a huge bonus for those trying to create a picture of how a kitchen could come together, to assist work optimisation and flow.  As the Euro Catering team give visitors informal tours, all visitors will see how the right equipment can make life easier in the kitchen, reduce energy and labour costs and potentially enable an operator to offer new menu items to maximise profitability.

There will also be live food demonstrations by Euro Catering’s food technologist and development chef, Darren Massey, to bring the equipment to life, and a very special extra – the Euro Catering Scalextric Challenge!

The hands-on and informative event takes place between 12 noon and 7pm each day and pick-ups from rail stations are also being offered.

Euro Catering’s owner, Tim Charlton, says: “We have invested heavily in our Culinary Centre and we believe this demonstrates our commitment to our dealers and design house partners. This is another major step forward in our company growth and we believe it will give us a brilliant asset as we seek to achieve our business objectives.

“We shall be delighted to formally launch the centre and look forward to welcoming many catering sector visitors.”
