Chamber welcomes Air-IT as new patron

Managed ICT service provider Air-IT has become the latest patron of the East Midlands Chamber*.

With offices in Nottingham and Derby, Air-IT delivers IT, communication and telephony services to firms across the East Midlands and beyond.

It has been established since 2005 and now has over 400 clients, ranging from SMEs to enterprises with offices around the world, covering a wide variety of industry sectors.

In 2016, the firm was ranked in the top 250 managed service providers in the world, and number one in the East Midlands. It hopes to build on this success in 2017.

Air-IT’s services include a full range of tailored ICT services, such as advice, solution design, consultancy and support. Clients can choose from fully- or partly-outsourced managed IT support, which it delivers from its in-house service desk, based at its Nottingham headquarters.

Cloud, cyber-security, business continuity, telephony, broadband and connectivity solutions also form a key part of its services portfolio which enable its clients to align technology with business goals.

Chamber patrons include organisations which want to take an influential and prominent role in the local business community and share the values that drive the Chamber forward.

Chamber Chief Executive Scott Knowles said: “I am delighted to welcome Air-IT into patronage. Chamber patrons are a powerful force in influencing policy, driving economic growth and development and equipping smaller businesses with the knowledge and skills that are vital to their future.

“Air-IT will bring to the Chamber skills and expertise to complement those of the other patrons to evolve something which is, together, greater than the sum of its parts.”

Paul Judge, Marketing Director, at Air-IT, said: “We’re delighted to join East Midlands Chamber as patrons.  Air-IT has enjoyed more than ten years as Chamber members, so understand and recognise the value and importance of its efforts to local businesses, of all types and size.

“We’re extremely excited about this opportunity and are very much looking forward to forging a close relationship with the Chamber to help support, lead and develop the success and growth of the region’s business community and economy, along with our fellow patrons.”

The Chamber has 24 patrons, including DHL Express, East Midlands Airport, Experian, The Money Shop, Wilko and Santander.
