Located at the Highcross Centre in the heart of Leicester, MOD will be offering free pizza for the first 50 customers and 10 lucky people will win free pizza for a year during the opening day – Thursday 6th December.
MOD is on a mission to be a force for good in every community it serves. In both the UK and US MOD donates its first day’s pizza sales to a local good cause as the start of a long-term partnership. Their opening day charity partner will be the ‘Y’ Project based in Leicester, who support and house homeless youth in Leicester
The newest Leicester location joins MOD’s existing restaurants in London, Borehamwood, Leeds, Nottingham, Romford, Watford and Gateshead.
MOD was born out of our passion for delicious artisan pizza and fresh salad. Customers can create their own pizza and salads, choosing any combination of over 30 featured toppings, or they can choose from the menu of MOD classics. That’s where the name MOD came from, every pizza or salad is made on demand, with whatever toppings you want, for one super low price – £7.87. Pizzas are hand-fired in a 300®c oven in just minutes and salads are hand-tossed for each customer. The menu is rounded out with a selection of delicious sides and desserts as well as soft drinks (including home-made lemonades), hand-spun milkshakes, beers and wines.
John Nelson, CEO of MOD Pizza UK says; “We are extremely excited to open in Leicester and bring MOD to this fantastic community. We are delighted to be able to spread even more MODness in the heart of the town centre with the opening of our 9th restaurant in the UK”.
